Ongoing painting works are based on the relationships between the human and natural worlds where biomorphic forms and characters represent human consciousness and emotional states. Nature is presented from an alternative viewpoint in a topsy turvy fashion. Through painting and drawing, slippage occurs between figuration and abstraction. A cartoonish style is sometimes employed as a means to personify these transformational figures and depict relatable narratives.
